During a time where the state of hiphop is considered as dying, many are trying to help revive it to a bigger and better condition. The south has been bringing out some of the hottest music for the better part of this century, and the time is now for another to hail. Originally from the Midwest (Quad Cities, IA/IL), Orlando, Florida is now the home to one of the emerging hiphop artists, Young X.

Young X may reside in the south, but his style sets himself apart from the majority. He likes to concentrate on his lyrics and word play just as much as the production. He has versatility that most hiphop artists don’t, and try to incorporate that into all his music. “I’m trying to do shit for everyone. Music for the streets, clubs, radio, and folks on the grind.”

The “General” is helping bring Klass-Sick and Midwest/South to the front line. X is determined to become an artist for the ages by delivering nothing but “Klass-Sicks”.
